The person in this role will act as a liaison to other departments within the organization to discuss and solve for reporting needs.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet with end user and work through presented requirements in the preparation of the report.Determine most effective and user-friendly method for report delivery.Create and maintain all appropriate logs for requirements gathering, testing, and validation activities.Coordinates reporting activities with other staff (e.g. development team,) and provides feedback to leadership regarding any problems or recommendations that would benefit the reporting systems.Can effectively meet deadlines for assigned tasks.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education Required: Associates degree in medical, business or related fieldPreferred: Bachelors/ Masters degree preferredType of Experience Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills with a focus on data aggregation.Prior experience utilizing business intelligence tools such as Sisense or Tableau.A good eye for creating clear and concise reports.Self-starter, with ability to work independently to complete work and projects.Preferred: Prior healthcare experience.Knowledge of institutional/provider billing practices, Claims Processing and related coding procedures.Specific Technical Skills Required: Proficiency with MS Office Suite with emphasis on MS Excel.An understanding of business intelligence tools such as Sisense or Tableau.Preferred: Use of Microsoft Access or similar query tool.Knowledge of SQL, data structures or a programming language.Certifications/Licensure: Required: n/aKnowledge And Skills: Excellent presentation skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to participate in meetings with all levels of management within the organization.Detail oriented, excellent follow up.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Must be service oriented, quick learner, team player.Appreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity toward target population.SCOPE INFORMATION # Direct Reports: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
