MAJOR FOCUS:
Participates in the Count operations including the daily currency drops and subsequent currency processing. Responsible for the collection, sorting, counting and recording of gaming results and the overall operation and maintenance of the Count Room and currency counting equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Removes cash boxes and opens bill changer units using operations and security keys.
* Places set of alternate empty cash boxes into bill changers.
* Transports all collected cash boxes using towing equipment to the Cash Room.
* Operates automated currency counting equipment to count and process currency removed from the cash boxes and table game drop boxes.
* Responsible for packaging currency into predetermined amounts for later use by the Cashiers' Cage for the deposit
* Complies with key control procedures
* Provides exceptional customer service as applicable
* Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations
* Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests
* Follows all relevant policies and procedures

* Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
* Must possess high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
* Must possess good communication skills
* Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled
* Must be able to work weekends, holidays, nights, and overtime as needed.
* Must be able to successfully pass a background check and receive a license from the DE Lottery
* Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire
* Must be able to work with mechanical tools and equipment.
* Must be able to speak, read and write English
