Department: NYU GPH Public Health Policy ManagementStart Date: May 16, 2024End Date: August 31, 2024Compensation: $30/HourThe GPH Department of Public Health Policy Management is hiring a Research Assistant who will play a pivotal role within an interdisciplinary team led by Dr. Genevra Murray. This team is dedicated to optimizing an intervention package aimed at integrating social services and medical care for pregnant individuals. The RA will actively contribute to community and stakeholder engagement, participant recruitment, and data collection efforts. There will also be opportunities to engage in data analyses and manuscript preparation, fostering professional growth and development in research methodologies.ResponsibilitiesCommunity and Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to engage with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders involved in the intervention program.Participant Recruitment:Assist in the identification and recruitment of eligible participants for the research study, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and study protocols.Data Collection:Organize and maintain research data in accordance with established protocols, including data entry, coding, and verification.Contribution to Data Analyses:Collaborate with team members in analyzing research data, interpreting findings, and generating insights to inform intervention optimization.Manuscript Preparation:Support the preparation of research manuscripts, including literature reviews, drafting sections, and formatting according to journal guidelines.Please provide a cover letter detailing your previous research experience and skills, along with your resume/CV and a writing sample.The incumbent will meet with their supervisor throughout their appointment to discuss milestones, overall performance and to identify areas of improvement.For additional questions, please email GPH Human Resources at .#J-18808-Ljbffr
