The Fleming Lab seeks a highly motivated research assistant to provide research support in the area of alpha-synuclein-associated neurodegeneration related to Parkinson's disease. Responsibilities include regular handling and behavioral testing of mice and rats and maintaining a breeding colony, performing molecular and cellular biology experiments, and aiding in basic laboratory management. The qualified applicant must have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and conduct multiple experiments simultaneously.
