This lab is currently using adeno-associated virus (AAV) as a vector system for in vivo delivery of monoclonal antibodies with potent neutralizing activity as an approach to the prevention or cure of AIDS virus infection in non-human primates. The duties of the selected candidate will include ELISA assays for quantitating of circulating antibody levels, cloned plasmid DNA construction and purification, protein purification and measurements of virus neutralization. This position is located in a research laboratory in the Converge Miami building.
