Consider Gladstone and make a difference in human health.About the role:The Doudna Lab at the Gladstone Institutes is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate (RA) with expertise in drug delivery, genome editing, and virology. Current projects focus on developing viral-like particles for delivering genome editing enzymes to the lung. We are collaborating with several laboratories across UCSF, the Gladstone Institutes, and the Lawrence Livermore National Labs to create and test new delivery vehicles. This position requires a strong foundation in wet lab molecular biology and tissue culture techniques. We are looking for a candidate who is not only rigorous in their research but also excels in effective communication and collaboration with colleagues across various labs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering graduate school in the future.What you will need:
  • Associate's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a BA/BS degree in biological sciences.
  • One or more years of wet lab experience (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail in experimental techniques and record-keeping.
  • Proven ability to work well with others and collaborate effectively.
