OverviewThe mission of the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University (HNRCA) is to promote healthy aging through nutrition science to empower people seeking to enjoy long, active, and independent lives. HNRCA investigators examine how nutrition and physical activity play a role in the prevention of the major chronic degenerative conditions and diseases associated with aging.What You'll DoThe Research Associate will work in collaboration with the senior investigator in the host laboratory. Works independently to participate in or lead a portion of a research project or projects. The Research Associate contributes ideas and suggestions to the research effort, operates independently and publishes papers in collaboration with the senior investigator. This individual may have other responsibilities in the laboratory such as supervision of staff, training of graduate students or postdoctoral fellows, grant proposal writing, writing papers, etc.What We're Looking ForBasic Requirements:* Three years' experience in postdoctoral research position * PhD, MD, DVM, DDS, DMD or equivalent Doctoral degreePay RangeMinimum $48,500.00, Midpoint $60,750.00, Maximum $73,000.00Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
