Meet is proud to partner with an innovative biotechnology company in the San Francisco Bay Area focused on discovering and developing novel medicines for chronic diseases. Their biology-focused drug discovery integrates disease biology and protein engineering to generate promising product candidates and advance them quickly to proof-of-concept studies.
THE POSITION:
We're searching for a skilled Research Associate II or Senior Research Associate to join the In Vivo Biology team to help meet a tight deadline by the end of the year.
This is a 3 month contract role, 5 days/week on-site in South San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Execute in vivo oncology experiments
● Analyze and interpret experimental data using Graph Pad Prism and Excel
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records in an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)
● Troubleshoot experiments and identify alternative strategies
QUALIFICATIONS:
● BA/BS in biology-related discipline and 3+ years of hands-on laboratory work experience, specifically with cell-derived xenograft models and IV dosing.
● Proficiency with in vivo techniques such as dosing (S.C., I.V., I.P.), cell line implantation for establishment of cell derived xenograft models, organ harvesting/processing, and blood collection.
● Experience with design and execution of rodent pharmacology studies whilst adhering to IACUC protocol guidelines
● Proficiency in cell culture
