The Gamebird and Managed Ecosystems (GAME) Lab is seeking a Research Professional to serve as a project leader on a Northern Bobwhite project. The project will examine bobwhite ecology and restoration efforts on private lands in Missouri. The successful candidate will work with the project sponsor (MO Department of Conservation), private landowners and field technicians: To coordinate research activities, and will also work with research scientists on UGAs main campus. This candidate will hire, train, and supervise seasonal field technicians. Work will involve quail trapping and radio-tagging of quail, tracking birds via radio telemetry, vegetation surveys, data entry and management, writing progress reports to the sponsor, analyzing data, publishing research results in peer-reviewed journals, and other duties as assigned.
