Role OverviewWe are looking for a Research Scientist to join our Digital Printing, Writing Systems team onsite in Dayton, OH.The Dayton-based inkjet R&D team is responsible for developing the next generation of commercial inkjet technology. This role will be integral in conducting fundamental inkjet research.Responsibilities:* Understanding and advancing the core technology of continuous inkjet printing, fluid dynamics, jetting drop formation, etc.* Analytical modeling of the technology and correlating to lab data* Understanding and developing solutions for fundamental problems in extending the use of the technology into new applications or new operating regimesRequired Skills/Experience:* PhD in Physics or Mechanical Engineering related field* Research focus in fluid mechanics, microfluidics, drop formation, coatings, electric charging, electrostatics, or electrochemistry* Prior inkjet experience desiredEOE Policy Statement:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $100,000Experience Level: 0-5 Years
