Role Overview
We are looking for a Research Scientist to join our Digital Printing, Writing Systems team onsite in Dayton, OH.
The Dayton-based inkjet R&D team is responsible for developing the next generation of commercial inkjet technology. This role will be integral in conducting fundamental inkjet research.
Responsibilities:
* Understanding and advancing the core technology of continuous inkjet printing, fluid dynamics, jetting drop formation, etc.
* Analytical modeling of the technology and correlating to lab data
* Understanding and developing solutions for fundamental problems in extending the use of the technology into new applications or new operating regimes
Required Skills/Experience:
* PhD in Physics or Mechanical Engineering related field
* Research focus in fluid mechanics, microfluidics, drop formation, coatings, electric charging, electrostatics, or electrochemistry
* Prior inkjet experience desired
