The Research Technician will have the ability to develop cell lines, perform genomic editing, cellular differentiation, and functional assays to test the effects of variants observed in patient genomes. Strengths will include the following:Cell culture. Molecular techniques: assays of DNA and RNA and other molecular techniques as required. Quality assessment for all experimental assays. Instrument and assay validation. Maintain laboratory documentation in electronic format. Perform routine laboratory operation tasks. Develop and maintain SOPs and worksheets for assays and routine laboratory operation in electronic format. Reporting tasks to colleagues and supervisor informally several times per week, and formally in lab meeting weekly QUALIFICATIONS Required to have at least a Bachelor's Degree in a related science or equivalent skills and related experience, and 2 to 4 1/2 years of related experience.
