Apply today and embark on a rewarding journey with us!Position Summary: The Reservations and Catering Coordinator is responsible for managing guest reservations and coordinating all catering and event services at The Nicewonder Inn. This role requires a strong customer service background, as well as experience with event planning and hotel operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between departments, helping to deliver outstanding guest experiences.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage and confirm room and event reservations for guests, ensuring all special requests and accommodations are accurately documented and fulfilled.- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients coordinating catering needs, from initial inquiry to the execution of the event.- Assist in creating catering menus tailored to guest preferences and working closely with the culinary team to ensure all aspects of catering services are met.- Work in tandem with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution, handling all logistical details.- Maintain accurate records of all reservations and event bookings, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and standards.- Communicate effectively with guests, providing detailed information about available services, room rates, and catering packages.- Prepare and distribute banquet event orders (BEOs) to all relevant departments.- Monitor guest feedback related to catering and event services and assist in making improvements.- Work with external vendors when necessary to coordinate event-related services.- Perform other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:- Prior experience in reservations, catering coordination, or event planning is required.- Strong organizational and communication skills.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.- Exceptional customer service skills with a keen eye for detail.- Experience with hotel reservation systems is a plus.- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
