The Reservations Coordinator at the Hyatt Regency Chicago O'Hare will assist in Group Reservations Management and Revenue Management support. This role is an excellent opportunity for training and growth in the Revenue Management Field. Responsible for managing group reservations and group room inventory as part of the event planning process.o Ensures group reservations and blocks are entered & maintained accurately.o Maintains relationship with Event Managers and clients up to arrival, for all matters pertaining to guest room usage.o Manages rooming list entry and changes, and tracks the inventory for individual call-in groups.o Details Group Resumes, complete routing, billing, and auditing for group reservations.o Evaluate Group projections, forecasts, and manages group pick-up tracking.o Reservations duties & responsibilities outside of managing group room blocks, including answering calls, maintaining systems accuracy, working closely with managers for VIP and corporate reservations, and more. Responsible for supporting the administrative needs of the Director of Revenue Management.o Responsible for running various reports, evaluating pace, booking trends, pricing analysis and managing distribution channels.o Assist in rate loading and rate management.o Participate in weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings.o Work with hotel team to maximize upsell revenue opportunities.Qualifications: Detail oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment Previous experience with PowerPoint & Excel Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills Great customer service skills and team oriented Previous hospitality experience preferredOur Company
