Reservation Agent Responsible for providing quality service and hospitality when answering incoming guest calls, securing guest reservations, and utilizing sales technics to maximize guest satisfaction & Hotel revenues for all US Hotel properties and Regency managed properties.
- Answer incoming guest phone calls and take appropriate action for each call up to and including securing reservations in a timely and correct manner
- Securing necessary deposits for reservations
- Knowledgeable of all US Hotel properties and their amenities.
- Accurately determines guests needs by listening effectively and working with them
- Sells additional services by recognizing opportunities to up-sell; explaining features (i.e. golf, packages, amenities, etc.)
- Maintains Opera/Synxis database by entering information correctly
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attends mandatory training sessions to stay updated on product or company policy changes
- Must be willing to occasionally travel to US Hotel properties for training purposes.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists group sales with reservations and/or name lists as assigned
- Answers overflow phone calls from front desk when not securing reservations
