The Residence Hall/Systems Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the division's daily operations, ensuring that goals and objectives are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage divisional reporting, staff schedules, production operations, and ensure compliance with university policies while fostering a supportive and engaging residential community.
Responsibilities
* Manage divisional reporting and strategic planning.
* Organize and oversee the schedules and work of assigned staff.
* Plan and organize daily activities related to production and operations.
* Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
* Assist with budget preparation for the operations unit.
* Prepare and update the organization's operations manual and policies.
* Establish production KPIs and conduct quality assessments.
* Monitor daily operations and address potential issues proactively.
* Build processes to meet business objectives and ensure compliance.
* Develop and manage residence hall communities, providing educational and personal support for students.
* Respond to student concerns and behaviors and advise student organizations.
* Manage facility and administrative tasks related to campus life.
* Implement strategies to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
* Develop and manage the annual operating budget for housing operations.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resources.
* Maintain accurate records related to housing operations, including occupancy rates and maintenance requests.
* Ensure compliance with college policies, regulations, and legal requirements related to housing.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in business management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
* Extensive knowledge of operations and production management. Experience in developing residence hall communities, student support, facility management, and campus life is preferred.
* A minimum of five years of related experience is required.
* Ability to run, bend, squat, and walk-in all-weather conditions.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
* Ability to work holidays, weekends, and nights.
