Residence Manager - FloatingCortland, NY ( TypeFull-timeDescriptionSUMMARY:Supervises staff and residents and oversees the operation of assigned sites by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Trainer and mentor for newly hired/promoted Residence Managers/Assistant Residence Managers/Relief StaffSupervises the orientation/training program for any assigned residences and relief staff.Relief staff management and schedulingUtilizes training protocols and oversight to provide ongoing staff training/education/review within the Residential department.Provides agency training as assigned.Schedules in-service training for all relief and assigned staff and assures attendance.Must be flexible to working in multiple residential sites, regular travel is required.Our Mission:The Arc of Madison Cortland is a family-led organization that advocates and provides support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement.About the ARC'S Residence Program: In the residential program, the most caring people are the trained staff who provide 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance to residents.
