The beautiful and ultra-luxury Ka La'i Waikiki Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts newest addition, is seeking a Residences Manager.

Ka La'i Waikiki Beach spans 38 stories with residential-style suites, designed for comfort and convenience, including fully-equipped kitchens, wellness facilities designed for relaxation, an infinity pool and heated whirlpool. Our guests feel at home with thoughtful service, and tranquil spaces inspired by nature.

What will I be doing?

As a Residences Manager, you will act as a liaison between unit owners and the hotel to manage all Residential Services policies, programs, and practices. You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Respond to owner emails and calls in a timely manner
  • Making reservations (7 – 10 per day, more during holiday periods)
  • Inspect units prior to owner arrival, especially units which are vacant for long periods
  • Arrange special cleaning requests – arrival, lanai, monthly, bill accordingly
  • Work closely with Engineering on repairs, water issues, renovations, getting units prepared for RMA
  • Regularly check vacant RES units to inspect for water issues, odor from pipes, etc.
  • Manage owner issues
  • Manage ongoing FF&E repair/replacement; reconciling charge slips, invoices from vendors, and bill owners accordingly (as needed)
  • Liaise any HOA issues with Hawaiiana
  • Speak/meet with potential buyers and explain condo-hotel operations and RMA program
  • Work with realtors and inspectors, coordinate showings and inspections; coordinate repairs found in home inspection reports to facilitate sale of units
  • Additional duties as necessary and assigned

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in luxury hospitality. Bi-lingual (English and Japanese) speaking, reading, and writing required. Must be able to comprehend and put into practice all pertinent AOAO, House Rules, and Condo documents as they relate to the hotel operation.
