Full-Time 2nd Shift Tues - Sat 2pm - 10:30pmAvivo Village is an alternative to encampments, that creates a safe, secure, and service-rich environment for unsheltered individuals as they work to secure long-term housing. The program provides on-site support to include, medical care, mental health support, meals, housing staff, group events, etc. The role of the Resident Advocate is to ensure safety of the residents by completing home checks, monitoring unwanted guests, passing out meals and beverages as needed, providing basics needs as requested, deescalating resident conflicts, and monitoring chemical health concerns.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide flexible services within a schedule that meets the needs of participants and offer regular and quality contact to build relationships and maintain trust.
- Respond to participant request by distributing food and other essential items.
- Manage entry and exits of buildings by monitoring doors to ensure that only those who reside in the hotel enter.
- Conduct crisis prevention/intervention as needed to ensure housing stability and holistic health and well-being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. A course of study in health or human services related field leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or associate degree.
- 2 years' experience working with single adults who have experienced long-term homelessness/with the target population served preferred.
- Experience with and/or commitment to working in a diverse, continuum of services in a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Experience with and/or a demonstrated commitment to developing and delivering culturally responsive services.
- Able to clear DHS background check.
- Driver's License
