Pick-up pay of $6/hour. Sign-on bonus of $1,500 for full-time employees.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide quality personal care to ensure that residents are comfortable and are provided with the highest quality of care.Adhere to all guidelines learned and state guidelines as well as comply with Genacross policies and procedures.Complete administrative requirements to ensure that proper documentation is maintained.Complete paperwork, medical forms, charting and all required documentation as a part of the resident care process and the transition of care process.Assist the residents with daily tasks related to dining and the resident activities program.Follow care plan functions to meet the specific needs of each resident.Focus on resident's individualized needs and encourage resident's ability to make personal choices.Accept direction of charge nurse in relation to direct resident care.Report allegations of abuse/neglect and report, as appropriate, to proper organization leadership.Report hazardous incidents, including but not limited to, injuries, equipment, etc. to the appropriate Manager/Supervisor.Implement and follow disaster plans in the event of an emergency.Perform other job duties as assigned.EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEMust be at least 16 years old.1-2 years of experience in Assisted Living setting or the elderly population.Must have or be willing to complete required training for the position of Resident Aide Assistant including first-aid training.Must demonstrate an ability to read, write, understand and communicate job-related information and directions in English.Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior executives, managers, supervisors and direct care staff, as well as residents, families and physicians.Understands directions; communicates and responds to inquiries promptly.Passion for Mission: A genuine passion for Genacross Lutheran Services' mission of compassion and service to others is essential.
