The Iowa Veterans Home is looking for temporary Resident Aides to assist on the unit. Hours are typically 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. working 30 hours in a pay period and every other weekend.As a Resident Aide, you will help residents by changing sheets, making bed, refill water pictures, refill treatment bucket, put away clean laundry.Duties also include:+ Assisting with passing meal trays and assisting during meal time.+ Provides support and physical assistance to residents by participating/initiating additional activities such as playing cards, table games, reading, crafts, writing letters for residents and taking residents for walks or outside for fresh air by wheelchair.+ Escorts or participates with resident activities, writing letters for residents, taking residents for walks along with other assigned duties.+ **All applicants are subject to a Criminal Background Check Dependent Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Check.Minimum Qualification RequirementsNo minimum requirementsAgencyState of IowaAgency671 Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs - Veterans HomeAddress1301 Summit StMarshalltown, Iowa, 50158Website verify your email addressVerify Email
