  • Provide personalized care and support to residents based on their individual needs and care plans
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation.
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, families, and team members.
  • Address Resident needs with respect and attention to safety
  • Attend and participate in required training, conducted at time of hire and/or annually, that will include training designed to assure resident safety: i.e. fire safety, missing resident, evacuations, disaster response, etc.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in caregiving or working with seniors preferred, but not required. We train!
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
  • Maintain good attendance, including timely arrival
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills required
  • Must comply with Pine Haven's policies
  • Understands, supports, and is committed to Pine Haven's Mission, Vision and Values
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must pass background check and drug / TB screening
