Come join us and find out how rewarding meaningful work can be!The RA/CNA Clinical Float at Pine Haven Christian Home provides daily care and assistance to residents in an assisted living facility, maintaining scheduled hours with flexible location assignments in all clinical households and campuses, based on need.This position is for PM (2:00pm-10:00pm) only. You will be required to work at all 3 campuses, in all departments as needed. Flexibility is a must.Requirements
  • Provide daily care and assistance to residents in an assisted living facility.
  • Address resident needs with respect and attention to safety.
  • Engage with residents in a manner that promotes their independence and maintains their dignity.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.
  • Follow established care plans to assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Actively engage residents through conversation and companionship.
  • Encourage socialization and participation in activities.
  • Provide mobility assistance when required.
  • Transport or escort residents to meals and activities.
  • Document care provided.
  • Report any observed changes in a resident's needs and/or condition immediately to a licensed nurse or manager as appropriate.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure that a sanitary environment is always maintained
  • Attend and participate in required training, conducted at time of hire and/or annually, that will include training designed to assure resident safety: i.e. fire safety, missing resident, evacuations, disaster response, etc.
  • Respect diversity and demonstrate cultural competence in working with residents and employees from diverse backgrounds and culture
  • Attend staff meetings according to the schedule within the assigned community.
  • Serve as representative of the community when requested
  • Follow company policy.
  • Perform all other responsibilities as needed/directed to meet the needs of the community.
Requirements and qualifications
  • Maintain good attendance, including timely arrival
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Support positive working relationships with fellow team members
  • Interact, communicate, and collaborate effectively with others
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills required
  • Must comply with Pine Haven's policies
  • Understand, support, and commit to Pine Haven's Mission, Vision and Values
  • Valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
  • Must hold a valid CNA certification and/or med passer certification when applicable
  • Possess a combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform this job

Salary Description $18.82-$22.91 based on experience
