**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
The Resident Assistant is responsible for all assigned duties related to the care well-being and safety of the residents. Responds to residents needs and provides residents with assistance in daily activities. Assists in orienting and training staff members. The person in this position is expected to know and support the mission and values of Dominican Oaks and to apply the Dominican Oaks philosophy while performing daily job tasks.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum:**
+ One (1) year experience as a resident assistant in an assisted living facility in the past five (5) years.
+ Education: None.
+ Current BLS certification required.
+ Current First Aid Certificate required.
+ Ability to read write understand and communicate clearly in English required.
+ Ability to demonstrate basic math skills required.
Preferred:
+ Six (6) months experience caring for senior population required.
+ Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification (CNA) preferred.
**Pay Range**
$23.50 - $26.41 /hour
