Job DescriptionBe enrolled as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours) a semester.Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher during the time of employment.Adhere to the Campbellsville University Student Code of Conduct on and off campus, encompass the mission to the best of your ability, and remain in good disciplinary standing with the University.Convey an attitude that demonstrates a positive regard toward the Office of Student Services and Campbellsville University.   • Keep your Resident Director informed of all situations that are potentially harmful to the functioning of an individual, your floor, the hall, or the staff as a unit.
  • Be objective and keep information confidential.
  • Plan and implement dorm programs with help and approval from your Resident Director.
  • Attend weekly or bi-weekly mandatory meetings with your Resident Director.
  • Conduct weekly Room Checks:
    • Thoroughly walk through each room and/or unit
    • Check for safety hazards, maintenance issues, and prohibited items
    • Build rapport and communicate with residents
    • Ensure proper cleanliness is maintained
    • Report to your RD
  • Complete all On-Call/Roaming expectations:
    • During your assigned week, roam 2 times between the hours of 9 pm and 11:15 pm, with the last roam following the end of visitation hours at 11 pm
    • Male RAs: On the weeks you are on call (average of 4), complete 28 total hours on lobby duty. 14 of these hours will take place outside of the required 9p-11p time-frame.
    • Female RAs: On the weeks you are on call (average of 5), complete lobby duty hours during the 9p-11p time-frame.
    • Remain within 15 minutes from campus and be available when needed
  • Complete all Lobby Duty expectations:
    • Be present, alert, and available at the assigned lobby desk during lobby duty hours, Monday through Sunday of your assigned week
    • Enforce all lobby rules (volume levels, cleanliness, PDA, visitors, etc.)
