We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time (32hr) Resident Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and providing excellent care. As a Resident Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, promoting their overall health and well-being, and ensuring their comfort and safety.This position will be scheduled for 11pm-7am, weekends and holidays as scheduled. Essential Duties-
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed
- Administer medication according to physician orders and document accordingly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the highest level of care for residents
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in eldercare or related field preferred
- Medication Administration certification required
- Home Health Aide or CNA certification or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
