Peaceful Pines - Huron is a brand-new senior living community opening this fall to provide independent living, assisted living, and memory care services for area seniors.

We are seeking an experienced caregiver to join our hardworking team of professionals as a Resident Care Aide (RCA). Certification is not required, as we provide training to become a Medication Aide.

An additional $1.00 for hours worked between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

The role: The RCA's primary role is to ensure the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care. The RCA is responsible for aiding residents with daily living activities that may include but are not limited to bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, walking, transporting, and other cares. The RCA will be trained to become a Medication Aide who administers prescribed medications to residents, as delegated by the community's Registered Nurse.

We have full-time and part-time opportunities for this non-exempt role, which requires 24-40 hours per week. The RCA will report to the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications: Candidates must be dependable, have a contagiously positive attitude, and a passion for working with seniors and/or caring for others. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and employees. Ideal candidates will have experience working in senior living.
