Resident Care Assistant
NIGHT SHIFT
** Pay rate between $16.26-18.34/hour **(based on experience)

The Resident Care Assistant will foster independence and promote socialization for each resident of the Enriched Housing Program. Assist residents with activities of daily living and housekeeping duties as indicated by the Resident's Individual Service Plan.
Requirements for a Glenmere Resident Care Assistant:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience working in assisted living facility assisting residents with daily living activities.
Responsibilities for a Glenmere Resident Care Assistant:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living at all levels including Assisted, Enhanced, and Special Needs Levels of Care.
- Prepare and maintain documentation/records of services performed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties IE; trash removal, laundry, bed making.
- Consult/report to nurse supervisor Resident's needs and any changes in Resident's status.
- Attend and participate in any mandatory meetings, in-services, and additional training.
- Serve between meal and bedtime snacks as needed.
- Assist the LPN Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and/or Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating resident care services, in accordance with the current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Community.
- Participates in and receives the shift report upon reporting for duty.
- Weights and measures residents as instructed.
- Assists with dining service during mealtime.
