Your role as a Resident Care Partner

As a Resident Care Partner at Carrollton Gardens, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily activities, including bathing, grooming, and medication reminders. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to residents, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times. In addition, you will work collaboratively with the nursing staff to monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor.

What you need to be successful

• To excel as a Resident Care Partner at Carrollton Gardens, you should have a high school diploma or GED and strong English communication skills.
• CNA Certification is a plus!
• A commitment to continuous learning is essential, with a minimum requirement of completing 12 hours of in-service education annually.
• Ideally, candidates will have at least six months of caregiving experience, preferably working with elderly individuals.
• Successful applicants must pass a criminal history check and not be listed on the Employee Misconduct Registry/NAR in Texas.
• Additionally, having a compassionate and empathetic nature, along with the ability to work well in a team, is crucial for this role.
