Our projects aim to protect public health and improve the quality of life through water, wastewater, and water reuse projects.What You Will Be DoingYou will be the primary liaison between our project management team, our clients, and construction contractors, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.- Project Planning - Construction (Retro fits & Upgrades at WWTP, Pump Stations, Water Treatment)- Projects Located: Withing NYC Queen, Brooklyn, Staton Island-Ground up construction experience as a lead on a project, design background a PLUS- Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and contractors to address and resolve construction challenges.- Review and approve contractor submittals and provide technical interpretations of design documents.- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship.- Manage project documentation, including construction reports, change orders, and progress payments.- Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance throughout the construction process.- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and participate in project meetings.- Provide support in contract negotiations and project close-out procedures.What You Need for this Position- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or as a resident engineer on water/wastewater projects.- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and project management practices.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.What's In It for You- Salary Range $140K - $185K- Vacation/PTO- Medical- Dental- Vision- Bonus- 401k- RelocationBenefits- Vacation/PTO- Medical- Dental- Vision- Bonus- 401k- RelocationSo, if you are a Resident Engineer + Waste Water Treatment Plant with experience, please apply today!Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.Preferred SkillsConstructionwaste waterHeavy Civil
