M&J Engineering, P.C. is seeking a full time Resident Engineer with a NY PE License and 5-10 years experience with at least 5 years of Resident Engineering experience for MTA/TBTA project. Excellent communications and client relations skills are a must, with the ability to manage a large staff of field personnel and work as a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise inspection staff and Assistant Resident Engineer to complete assignments and delivery of daily inspector reports in accordance with clients requirements
• Provides daily on-site construction management and site inspections.
• Provides technical review of construction plans, specifications, and project changes for constructability and practicality.
• Responsible for overall site safety, permit condition compliance, and coordination with other agencies.
• Monitors Contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness, and effectiveness.
• Maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc.

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineer with MTA/TBTA experience.
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field.
• NY Professional Engineer (PE) License required
