Project Resident Engineer (Aurora, Colorado)

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Aurora, Colorado (on-site role)

About the Role

Global Engineering Talent is seeking an experienced Project Resident Engineer to join the team overseeing the delivery of a state-of-the-art industrial manufacturing facility during the Construction Management Services (CMS) phase. Based on-site in Aurora, Colorado, this role will play a critical part in driving construction activities forward, ensuring quality, safety, and timely execution in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring alignment with project plans, schedules, and design requirements.
  • Perform routine site inspections, identifying and resolving issues to maintain progress, quality, and safety standards.
  • Act as a key liaison between the construction teams, subcontractors, and consultants, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all work adheres to specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Manage documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, technical submittals, and change order approvals.
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and drive compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety policies.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot technical challenges, and propose solutions to keep the project on track.

What We're Looking For:

  • 8+ years of experience in industrial engineering, construction management, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience managing on-site activities for large-scale industrial or complex building projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred). PE license is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of quality control, site coordination, and safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools.
