Qualifications

The Resident Experience Specialist of Build to Rent is responsible for all leasing activities in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines; resolving resident issues timely; providing prompt and professional service to internal and external customers; handling various office duties including, but not limited to, assisting with event and leasing marketing campaigns, providing assistance as needed regarding housing materials. The resident experience specialist BTR is a Hybrid/Traveling remote position but will work at multiple sites and run between three and six communities simultaneously.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides effective customer service to all prospective tenants, current residents, and property staff by utilizing in-depth knowledge of the community/communities and its functions.
  • Responsible for ensuring the daily marketing, administrative, and financial operation of the property under the direction of the community manager build to rent.
  • Maintains information concerning construction projects, rehab upgrades, amenities, facilities, services, and activities for the community/communities.
  • Inspects all pre-leased homes prior to resident scheduled move in date: coordinate all changes regarding resident move outs.
  • Communicate with residents regarding needs and periodically follow up on completed service requests.
  • General office administrative duties, including answering phones, emails, written correspondence, and managing incoming mail for the community/communities.
  • Assist with leasing job duties, including touring prospective residents and preparation of lease agreements and process the paperwork for the approval of the community manager - BTR, as directed to meet business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 60%
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor
  • Basic computer knowledge/office equipment skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational/multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers
  • Demonstrated sales and closing skills
  • A valid drivers license may be required
  • Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law.

Work Schedule: Generally 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday (will vary based on property needs).
