General Function: Responsible for the supervision of all functions relating to the custody, security, control, and maintenance of the facility, and the residents and Resident Monitors.

Schedule: Full-Time. 40 hours per week.

* Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday = 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM

* Tuesday = 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Areas of Responsibility:

* Responsible for complying with all agency policies and applicable procedures.

* Responsible for observing and documenting the accountability of all residents and Resident monitors within the facility.

* Responsible for enforcing and documenting all rules, responsibilities and restrictions assigned to residents and staff

* Responsible for assisting and supporting the counselor regarding resident Program Plans.

* Responsible for conducting and documenting scheduled internal and external inspections of the premises, to maintain the health, safety and control of the residents, and the appearance and upkeep of the facility.

* Responsible for maintenance, control and documentation of all transactions regarding money, medications, first aid supplies, mail, visitors, telephone calls and referrals.

* Responsible for communicating all relevant information to other staff in regard to residents, the facility and the agency.

* Responsible for reporting emergency situations and unusual occurrences immediately to the staff duty officer.

* Responsible for scheduling and monitoring facility searches.

* Responsible for attending and participating in all meetings as required.

* Responsible for developing, for review by the Assistant Director, the staff schedule for Resident Monitors.

* Responsible for Resident Grievance procedure.

* Responsible for maintenance of the linen service.

* Responsible for weekly auditing Medication Dispensation Form.

* Responsible for compilation of the monthly supply inventory and the monthly first aid inventory.

* Responsible for training and participating in conducting appraisals of Resident Monitors and Shift Supervisors.

* Responsible for monitoring the sick call and wake-up procedure.

* Responsible for assisting in the recruiting, interviewing and recommending of applicants to be hired for Resident Monitor position.

* Responsible for performing off-site checks on residents whereabouts as required by the Assistant Director.

* Performs all other duties as may be assigned by the Director or his/her designee.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma and three years related experience.

* Must have personal computer (PC) work experience using Windows 2000 or XP operating systems.

* Work experience should include Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Word and Excel applications.

* Should understand basic PC concepts (files, file paths, copying and pasting, deleting, and moving files) as well as operation of common office machinery.

* The candidate must also have good typing, spelling, grammar, organizational, and phone skills.
