Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
- Measures distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of installations and layouts
- Verifies levels, alignment, and elevation of installations
- Observes work in progress to determine if procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications
- Conducts field checks of materials and equipment
- Records quantities of materials received or used during specified periods
- Reviews drawings and specifications for constructability
- Reviews project materials, documents, submittals, and schedules
- Advises project engineer of deficiencies in materials or workmanship and assists in developing solutions
- Documents construction progress with photographs and written daily logs
- Verifies construction quantities and prepares pay requests
- Bachelors degree in construction engineering/technology preferred but not mandatory with at least 5 years construction related experience required
- Works hours outside of normal business hours as required for specific projects including weekends and occasional nighttime work
- Proficient in the use of computers and other relevant hardware and software tools
- Valid Driver's License required
