Our client is seeking a motivated and responsible professional to work as Resident Supervisor with the juvenile population in the Shenandoah Valley area.SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY* Provide direct supervision, custody, control, and activities of the residents placed in the juvenile center and daily activities for youth of a single pod.* Central control operator and pod staff will have responsibilities defined by Post Orders.* Assist in the development and implementation of the facility programming.* Assist in intake and release procedures and maintains accurate written paperwork. Also Interviews new residents regarding personal data, legal status and provides orientation to juvenile center rules and procedures.* Provide coverage and assistance in all secure areas of the facility. Must be willing to work shifts on a rotating basis. CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION* Minimum of a High School Diploma or a degree from an accredited two-year program in criminal justice, social sciences, or other related field.
