The day-to-day duties of the Resident Support Specialist will be based on departmental needs, enhancing the continuity of care and overall facility efficiency.Schedule: Variable hours based on facility needs; weekend and holiday availability may be required.This position is ideal for a dependable, adaptable individual who enjoys a variety of tasks and is dedicated to supporting our team in providing exceptional care and service across all departments.Salary: $15/hr. to $18/hr. Key Responsibilities:Dietary Support:
- Assist with meal preparation, service, and cleanup, ensuring dining areas remain clean and compliant with safety standards.
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation and light tasks to maintain efficiency during meal times.
Housekeeping & Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, laundry, and general tidying of resident rooms and common spaces.
- Support the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness and organization in all assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.
Activities:
- Assist with the creation and execution of engaging resident activities
- Promote an environment that is both safe and engaging for residents
Resident Assistance (Non-CMT):
- Assist resident care teams with non-medical tasks, such as transporting residents within the facility, delivering linens, and assisting with light activity setup.
- Ensure residents' needs are met in a timely and respectful manner, contributing to their comfort and wellbeing.
General Support:
- Provide flexible support to any department in need, acting as a resource during peak hours or short-staffed times.
- Collaborate with various team members to identify priority tasks for the day and complete them with efficiency and care.
RequirementsQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
- Flexibility to work in various departments and adapt to different tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in dietary, housekeeping, or caregiving roles is preferred but not required.
