RESIDENTIAL AIDE II - Short-Term Family HousingResidential Aide II is responsible for leading tasks that ensure the safety and security of the staff, clients, and the building. The Residential Aide II ensurea emergency protocols are followed, report all incidents to the program and operational leadership and are the main point of contact when the PD and OM are not present at the site.OVERVIEW OF POSITION:Maintain the security of the facility.Ensure screening measures take place for all clients and visitors to the facility.Educate clients about the program policies and procedures and ensure clients abide by program policies and procedures.Make certain that clients properly sign in and out of the facility in accordance with applicable rules.De-escalate potential crisis situations and document all situations and interventions.Conduct rounds (roves) throughout the facility including all hallways, stairwells, floors, bathrooms, and othercommon areas.Conduct roves of facility perimeter.Audits logs, incident reports, and all other required documentation for accuracy.Perform administrative duties and receptionist duties at the operations desk as needed.Work with Residential Aides to conduct room inspections, room preparation, and room turnover for new clients, as required.Perform other tasks as assigned.PERFORMANCE EVALUATION CRITERIA100% compliance with uniform requirement100% compliance with timely reporting of incidents to include data completeness and report accuracy100% timely roves throughout the facility and building perimeter100% customer service complianceQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED, required. Lived experience accepted in place of diploma or GED.Bachelors Degree, preferred.Prior military and/or public safety experience preferred.Must be willing to work flexible hours, nights and/or weekends, and overtime, if necessary.First Aid/CPR certification, preferred.CORE DC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
