Accordingly, the RWDSU has the exclusive right to bargain over the terms and conditions of employment related to this position and this position may become covered by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement (a CBA ) between Housing Works and the RWDSU Compensation: $17/hrOverview: The Residential Aide ensures the wellbeing of the residence's clients and helps promote their safety and security during his/her shifts. The RA provides crisis intervention as needed to maintain residential and facility security. The RA works in shifts of 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, and 11pm-7am. The schedule operates 7 days a week, and all holidays as needed.Responsibilities: Primary:
- The RA oversees adherence to the residence's operating policies and procedures
- The RA works with the client's clinical and program staff to help optimize the health and wellness of residents.
Other functions that may be required with this position include:
- Conduct periodic facility walk-throughs during a shift.
- Assist case management with discharges
- Perform hourly wellness checks
- Maintain excellent customer service and confidentiality at all times.
- Light custodial work consisting of cleaning tables, chairs, minor spills, and removal of trash.
- Provide screening to all visitors, staff, and clients who enter the hotels
- Communicate with supervisor regarding calls outs, request for PTO and any emergencies
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of work experience
- Certificate of Fitness to operate a Fire Panel.
- MUST OBTAIN S95 within 90 day of employment
