Available part time positions at all of The Guild's Adult residential homesSummary:To assist the Residential Manager (or Lead/Assistant Residential Manager) in the development and implementation of a comprehensive residential program for each of their assigned individualsPrimary Job Responsibilities:* Work as a member of a team to maintain a clean, safe, positive living environment for each individual who lives at the residence including completing laundry and cleaning assignments* Assist in the development and implementation of each individual's residential ISP/IEP and daily activity schedule.* Attend and support individuals participating in all community experiences.* Implement positive behavior supports and individual behavior support plans for individuals who live in the home.* Assist in record keeping and report writing, as assigned.* Provide supervision of all individuals while under his/her care.* Administer and record individuals' medications, in compliance with MAP.* Able to transport individuals to various locations.* Provide direct supervision and care to individuals, including 1:1 responsibilities at all times and locations.* Participate in any meetings pertaining to assigned individuals or program planning, as directed.* Engage in de-escalation of individuals.* Able to attend training as required.* Preform other related duties as assignedEssential Job Functions* Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job including inclement weather* Demonstrated evidence of mature judgment, good interpersonal skills, a desire to enrich individuals' lives and a willingness to learn* Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate individuals who have limited cognition and complex needs* Proficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job* Pass Guild Driving test to access Guild vehicles for transportations of individuals* Must be able to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (via certification through CPI)* The ability to assist individuals in evacuation from the residenceQualificationsQualifications:* A minimum of an Associate's Degree is preferred; prior experience in lieu of a degree will be considered* Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background requirements* MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification or the ability to obtain MAP certification within the first 90 days of employment
