Residential Behavior Specialist
Full Time, Mercer County
Annual Salary: Up to $65,000 based upon experience.
Maximum Caseload Size - 6 Individuals
Set hours - Mon - Fri, 3 pm - 11 pm

Who We Need:
The Residential Behavior Specialist is responsible for providing clinical behavior support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and ABA practices working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role will be under the direction of a supervising BCBA for therapy and data collection.
What We Need:
- RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) - Preferred, required after 6 months.
- This is a hybrid/operational role - candidate will support and interact with consumers in a Residential Group Home setting.
- Identifies needs for training and develop training to staff on behavior interventions and strategies.
- Document behavioral interventions and outcomes through the use of individual progress notes.
- Assist with gathering information and data for assessments.
- Establish ongoing communication with psychiatric and mental health providers.
- Serve as an analyst to the Interdisciplinary Team
- Monitor implementation of Behavioral Support Plans.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, to accommodate the varied needs of the program.
- Maintained behavioral documentation in electronic health records and other tracking systems.
- Coordinate with the medical department on behavioral issues.
- Attend meetings for behavioral-related issues.
What You Need:
- ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is preferred
- Minimum of 6 months' experience working in Human Services and Developmental Disabilities.
- Experience with adult DDD population and DDD regulations preferred.
- Experience in implementing behavior modification techniques.
- Experience in the development of behavior modification strategies preferred
- Good interpersonal, organization, and writing skills.
- Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions necessary.
