Job Description:

This position serves to carry out tasks to facilitate the successful implementation, staff coaching and training of the Integrated Treatment Model at the 17th St residential program, Marian Hall and at our Brooklyn site, Euphrasian at Chisholm The ITM Coach shall work closely with the ITM Director to assure model fidelity, program development and integration. Reports to: Director of Integrated Treatment Model for MST/FIT Location: 337 East 17th Street, NY, NY 10003 AND 479 New Jersey Ave., Brooklyn Hours: 35 hours/Fulltime Major Duties:Participates in training and efforts that develop expertise in ITMMaintain ongoing communication with Director of ITM Director to ensure optimal model implementationCollaborates with residential staff and management, under the direction of the Director of Integrated Treatment Model, to assess needs and plan for all trainingsProvide technical assistance and training of ITM treatment to all milieu staff as well as refreshers Observation, coaching and monitoring of staff, offering specific interventions and strategies Plan, present and lead groups at both sites, related to teaching ITM/DBT skillsSchedule and hold individual ITM/DBT sessions with participant(s)Reviewing incidents and help create behavioral plans to meet the needs of individual youthIn collaboration with Performance Evaluation and Planning Department, collect relevant data and ensure appropriate analysis and disseminationRemain informed about trends in this field and use this information to collaborate on a vision of the changes and improvements neededAttend all mandatory program and agency meetingsEffectively schedules self to carry out work during traditional and non-traditional work hours including some evening/weekends and on call to provide role modelling training to all staff. Full or partial work days may be spent at each site.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Associate's Degree, required; Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred3 years experience working within a residential setting strongly preferredKnowledge and experience in Child Welfare, preferredExperience in the development and running of groups, preferred Proven ability to train staff at varying professional levelsDemonstrated ability to work independentlyDemonstrated strong interpersonal skills, requiredKnowledge of Cornell TCI and/or Safe Crisis Management, preferredExcellent written and oral communication skills, requiredDemonstrated administrative skills; Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel Bilingual Spanish, idealMust have commitment to work from a strength based and/or youth development perspectiveMust have a commitment to the company's models of practice including Sanctuary and ACS principles to promote permanency, safety and well-being.Salary: $50,000-60,000EBA's mission is to support families and strengthen communities through the high-quality implementation of evidence-based programs (EBPs).
