Job DescriptionAbout the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Lead Designer with exceptional AutoCAD skills to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will excel in front of clients, presenting ideas effectively, and understanding the nuances of residential custom home and renovation projects. This role will involve directing both the design department and contributing to the overall direction of the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for residential custom homes and renovation projects
- Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed and accurate designs
- Present and articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders
- Read and interpret client needs, effectively communicating design ideas
- Contribute to strategic planning and company direction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure project success
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential custom home and renovation design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to read and understand client needs and adjust presentations accordingly
- Leadership skills to guide the design department and influence company direction
- Stable work history with good tenure; no job hoppers
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary around $90k, with bonuses to exceed $100k- all depending on experience.
- First-year total compensation target: $105k
