We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Construction Supervisor to oversee and lead residential renovation and addition projects. This full-time role involves working closely with the leadership team to manage labor, trade partners, materials, schedules, and most importantly, customer relationships. Our dynamic design-build construction company is looking for an experienced construction superintendent to plan and oversee our projects. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of construction field experience and a passion for managing others. Responsibilities: • Construction Oversight: Supervise all phases of the home renovation process, including kitchen and bath remodels, exterior restorations, whole-home renovations, additions, and new construction ensuring all code requirements and quality standards are met. • Job Site Oversight: Conduct daily site visits to ensure safe, clean, and organized job sites. Implement measures to protect existing structures and minimize disruption to the homeowner. • Trade Partner Coordination: Oversee the activities of trade partners, ensuring work progresses according to contract scope, quality standards, and project timelines while maintaining a strong rapport and relationship. • Client Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with homeowners, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly. Uphold a high level of customer service to deliver an exceptional and transparent experience. • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and address potential construction issues, such as code violations, material shortages, or logistical concerns, before they escalate. • Scheduling & Inspections: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate inspections, and ensure all work meets local building codes and requirements and to ensure the project is on schedule to be finished on budget and to the highest possible quality. • Material Procurement: Source and purchase materials, ensuring timely deliveries to keep the project on schedule. • Punch List Completion: Oversee the completion of all punch list items to guarantee client satisfaction before project closeout. • Trade Partner Management: Solicit bids, review proposals, negotiate contracts, and award work to subcontractors. • Site Standards & Safety Enforcement: Ensure adherence to job site standards, including safety protocols and workmanship quality. Qualifications: • Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles • A high school diploma is required, bachelor's degree preferred • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills • At least 5 years of previous experience as a general contractor required, preferably with some additional managerial experience • Physical stamina to lift at least 40 lbs and use heavy equipment • Current general contractor license • Ability to read construction drawings, site plans and other construction related documentation. • Ability to conduct takeoffs, develop scopes and estimates. • Experience with project management software and construction scheduling tools including Gmail, CoConstruct/Buildtrend/.JobTread/Procore, • Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and the residential construction market. Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 yearly
