This candidate is responsible for managing on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. They coordinate subcontractors, oversee site safety and compliance, and solve issues to keep the project running smoothly day-to-day.

Description

  • Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the job site to ensure quality control and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and material tracking.
  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
  • Lead job site meetings with subcontractors, tradespeople, and stakeholders to review schedules and work plans.

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent overseeing large commercial or residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and workforces on a busy construction site.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to think on your feet to resolve job site challenges.
