This role focuses on ensuring high-quality services by providing administrative support, coordinating schedules, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and assisting with documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and compassionate professional dedicated to promoting independence and well-being for those we serve through administration. RequirementsPosition Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with individuals with disabilities, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday business hours with flexibility to participate in a 24-hour on-call system and work non-traditional hours as needed.
- Compliance: Preferred knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to disability services.
Ideal Experience, Background & Skills:
- Supervisory experience in a residential setting.
- Case management skills, including developing and implementing Person-Centered Individualized Service Plans (PCISPs).
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage crisis situations effectively and provide immediate support.
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with all regulations and thorough documentation practices.
As a Residential Coordinator, you'll spend your days:
- Supervising Staff: Provide direct supervision, training, and performance evaluations for Direct Support Professionals, ensuring they deliver top-tier support.
- Managing Schedules: Develop and maintain staff schedules to meet individual needs and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring Compliance: Maintain adherence to all regulatory requirements and ensure that procedures and policies are up to date and effectively implemented.
- Supporting Individuals: Provide direct care as needed, including assistance with self-care activities, transportation, and behavior plan implementation.
- Case Management: Oversee the operations of residential homes, manage individual cases, and respond to emergencies or crises.
- Administering Medication: Ensure medications are administered in compliance with nursing directions.
- Documenting and Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required reports, including incident/accident reports, case notes, and program data.
