Our Core Values Believe in People Keep it Real Find Joy Be a Leader Work Together GreenSpark is seeking a Residential Field Operations Manager to join our Residential Operations team. In this role, you will manage residential solar, storage, and accessory projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction. You will also oversee the daily and weekly schedules of our installation teams and handle various field-related tasks. Essential Job Functions & Key Responsibilities: Field Crew Management:

  • Train, schedule, and manage the Residential field crew leads to uphold GreenSpark standards, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Oversee jobsite progression and implement quality control for PV installation best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Adjust crew schedules and resources based on project needs to achieve weekly and monthly team goals.
  • Review timesheets, reimbursements, tool needs, and time-off requests.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual performance evaluations in collaboration with management.
  • Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new field crew members.
  • Provide ongoing career development and training through meetings, coaching sessions, and field-based opportunities.
Project Management:
  • Co-manage special residential projects from planning through site survey, design, permitting, installation, and inspection.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, engineering, and regulatory agencies.
  • Provide regular project updates to management and customers.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation in GreenSpark software.
  • Schedule installations, inspections, and deliveries for PV, storage, and EV projects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between field members, project managers, and management.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management , construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience or related field is strongly recommended, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are a plus.
  • Proficient in the installation of grid-tied solar PV systems
  • Strong understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems and related technologies is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting requirements are beneficial.
