Position Name: Residential Group Home RNLocation: Rush, NY - 14543 (occasionally West Henrietta, NY - 14586)Employment Type: Direct-Hire & PermanentSetting: Residential Group HomePay$30-$33.50 per hourShift- Part-Time (20 hours a week) or Full-Time.- Mondays (required): 8am-3pm or 4pm.- Flexible with other days/times.- Weekends are not required, however, available. Can work Thursday-Sunday if you would like.- On-call: not initially, but few months in will be part of rotating schedule for 1 week every 6-7 weeks.QualificationsRequired:- RN NY State License.- Minimum of six months professional nursing experience required.- NY State Driver's License.- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.Preferred:- Demonstrated expertise in providing care and support for clients with developmental disabilities.- If no experience with developmental disabilities: open to someone with home health or hospice experience or who has a personal passion or experience working with patients with developmental disabilities.Preferred Certifications (if don't have, will help obtain):- BLS Certification.- NYS Medication Administration and OPWDD Nursing Certification- SCIP-r.- All other training mandated by the OPWDD.Application Guidelines- Professional Stability: 2+ years in recent roles preferred.- Complete Resume: Full work history with job title, company, dates (month/year), and responsibilities for each role.- Serious Applicants: Incomplete applications or frequent unexplained job changes may be disqualified.Job SummaryRegularly interact with residents to build rapport and assess their health status, ensuring communicable diseases and infections are monitored. Complete and maintain accurate documentation using PrecisionCare software, including health information files and nursing service plans. Coordinate medical and health-related services, administer prescribed medications, and ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations. Provide training and support for residential staff, maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, and participate in safety and interdisciplinary team meetings.
