What We Are Looking For!RESIDENTIAL HELPERPOSITION SUMMARYAssist driver in providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBLITIES* Safely load waste by carrying bags and containers to the vehicle for disposal* Assist driver in maneuvering the vehicle by directing driver from the ground* Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated route.* Operate packing mechanism and various levers and handles to activate the lifting and loading mechanism* Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip; spray and clean the hopper and truck, if applicable* Follow all safety standards and wears the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)* Attend and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings* Reports any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.* Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner* Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste* Clean area around an accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies* Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner* Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, as well as the on the route and in the work area* Perform other job-related duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFCATIONS* Minimum 6 months experience working in fast-paced environment* Exposure to working in all-weather elements preferred* High-energy individual with a strong work ethic* Ability to work in a physical demanding setting* Attention to detail and good time management skills* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others* Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions* Must have reliable transportation (Good Attendance is a must)* Must possess basic mathematical skills* Basic computer knowledge preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity* Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 75-100 pounds* Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or riding in a video/GPS monitored vehicle* Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workdayEDUCATION* High school diploma or equivalentLICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS* NoneCompany supplies: Safety boots and all PPE
