The Assistant Director of Residential Life is responsible for supporting the vision of the department while providing leadership to staff and students. This is a 12-month position responsible for working on the residential life team to deliver a vibrant residential living community that engages students for success at Fort Hays State University. Under the leadership of the Director of Residential Life, the Assistant Director is responsible for direct supervision of one Administrative Assistant and two student employees. Responsibilities:Responsible for tracking occupancy numbers in the residence halls and apartment complexes to include returning and new students, wait lists, and the monitoring of overflow accommodations. Responsible for all room and housing assignments processes to include hall and room changes, in conjunction with Community Directors. Maintain and update occupancy database using Star.
